Zoom has announced a new event management tool designed to help digital event organizers create sessions without the sacrifices of choosing a cheaper product or without the unnecessary expense of choosing a more expensive product.
The video conferencing company said the “one size fits all” approach no longer works as more and more customers become accustomed to online environments.
The new Zoom Sessions offering is therefore designed to facilitate better branding, analytics and engagement, thereby increasing ROI.
Zoom sessions
The product is designed to support single-session events, offering organizers the ability to use analytics, automation and integration tools, work with interactive features and use custom branding assets.
Zoom Sessions are now available for purchase and fall somewhere between the Zoom webinars they are based on and Zoom Events, which are a more expensive and feature-rich offering. price list (opens in a new tab) is scalable based on the number of participants required, with licenses starting at $990 (£730) per year.
For events that require multiple co-hosts, Zoom has also provided behind-the-scenes Zoom sessions, allowing organizers to work together before, during, and after the event.
Of course, Zoom Sessions includes all the features already included in Zoom Webinars, including support for videos up to 30 hours long, branded virtual backgrounds, and tools like Q&A, polls, and quizzes.
In addition to occasionally offering new products such as multiple video conferencing platforms, Zoom regularly applies updates to make all business and personal plans better and more secure in order to maintain a significant share of the market, compared to Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
